Tarot Readings for the Week of May 10, 2026

REMINDER:

·       Uranus, a planet that brings unexpected change and freedom wherever it lands in your chart, has moved from grounded Taurus [focused on finances] into imaginative Gemini, [focused on personal image] where it will stay until 2032. Uranus challenges the rigid structures we [or society] have set up. Uranus influences communication, technology, and transportation. Interestingly, Gemini is the sign of communication. On a global scale, we will likely see innovations in how we, as a society, communicate: AI, internet, etc.

·       Pluto in Aquarius has turned retrograde until October. The word retrograde means going in reverse; however, planets don’t actually go in reverse. They ‘pause’ while the other astral orbs continue to move forward, making a planet appear to go in reverse. When any planet is in retrograde, it’s a time to ‘RE-’: revise, reevaluate, regenerate, etc. During this pause of Pluto’s transformative energy, it’s a good time to re-stabilize, perhaps rethink or re-imagine whatever area in your life has been pushing for change.

SUNDAY

·       Happy Mother’s Day. Although every day is a good day to honor your mother or those who have mothered you, remember that we all have a little ‘mother’ in us, a need to care for and nurture ourselves. Do something nice for yourself today.

·       The Sun in Taurus sextile [beneficial] Jupiter in Cancer [the nurturer]. This is feel good personal energy, providing contentment and peace within. Some might even feel adventurous. It’s a great day for that too! This energy will remain strong through Thursday.

·       Moon enters Pisces. Intuition is strong. Pay special attention to your dreams.

MONDAY

·       Sun conjunct Mercury in Taurus. The energy is building today, becomes strongest on Wednesday and then begins to lessen until the end of the week. This is good communication energy, a reliable time to share your vision. Be careful of sounding boastful.

TUESDAY

·       Mars conjunct Chiron in Aries. Here again, the energy is building and becomes strongest on Saturday and then lessens through next week. Mars is an action planet; its conjunction with Chiron indicates a confident desire to help others. Avoid impulsiveness.

·       Moon enters Aries. Withdrawing from the turmoil for a day would do you good. If there’s a particular issue weighing on you, now is the time to seek solace and come to a mental resolution.

WEDNESDAY

·       Moon conjunct Saturn in Aries. That feeling of self-confidence that you’ve enjoyed earlier in the week may be waning. This is temporary.

FRIDAY

·       Moon enters Taurus, providing a feeling of relief and groundedness.

SATURDAY

·       New Moon at 25° Taurus. Every new moon introduces the energy for new ideas, new beginnings; and in stable Taurus, this indicates a contemplative time to organize and prepare for something new in your life. You may not be ready to burst forth with a major change but there’s an idea growing that could be very beneficial.

NEXT SUNDAY

·       Mercury conjunct Uranus in Gemini. This energy provides “bigger than life” ideas. Consider the possibilities of exploring something entirely out of the norm for you.

TAROT

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck. For the Collective card, an overview for all, I am using the Divine Angels Oracle deck.

·                 Collective card: Balance

“Maintain harmony and balance in your life to manifest your desires.” This week’s astrology requires maintaining balance since the aspects seem to be pulling at each other. As always, when reading the astrology, take what makes sense to you and leave the rest.

·                  ARIES [the Ram]: Seven of Pentacles

Have patience with yourself. This week, reflect with satisfaction on a recent job well done. Allow time to revisit [remember Pluto retrograde] actions and know that you’ve accomplished what you set out to do.

·                  TAURUS [the Bull]: Four of Swords

Retreat and allow yourself some rest. By the end of the week when the New Moon is set, you’ll be ready to accept that energy and move forward.

·                  GEMINI [the Twins]: Nine of Wands

With Uranus sitting in Gemini, this week is a good time to reflect on what you want to accomplish, what really matters to you. Are you taking on too much currently? It’s always important to recognize when enough is enough.

·                  CANCER [the Crab]: The Sun

Jupiter’s energy in Cancer combined with The Sun card is screaming “Yes” to all actions you’re contemplating. This is providing total clarity. You know what you want. Now, go out and do it.

·                  LEO [the Lion]:   Wheel of Fortune

This card is influenced by Jupiter, the planet of expansion. It suggests that it’s time to assess where life has taken you and what the future holds. This usually indicates a spiritual enlightenment. Pay attention; it’s all good.

·                  VIRGO [the Virgin]: Page of Pentacles

The Page cards have a student quality to them, a lesson to learn. In this case, the Pentacles suggest material matters. There’s an opportunity to try something new, not for the sake of financial gain, but the sheer joy of personal reward.

·                  LIBRA [the Scales]: Nine of Cups

Balance and harmony, just as the Angel card suggested, is what Libras are always striving for. This week, with the Nine of Cups, as they say, “it’s in the cards!” Wishes do come true. Wish for something great.

·                  SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Two of Swords

A decision needs to be made and it’s not an easy one. Either choice is going to come at a cost. Just remember, angels surround you. This too shall pass.

·                  SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Three of Cups

You have something to celebrate. Enjoy the camaraderie of friends and family as you share positive experiences and the joy of life.

·                  CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Seven of Swords

Caution is the key word this week. That doesn’t mean something negative is on the horizon; it just means you need to keep alert and allow yourself some private time.

·                  AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Death

Of course, when people see the Death card, they think of terrible things happening. That’s not the case. This indicates a time to get rid of what’s not serving you any longer. What ideas/activities are you holding on to that are simply taking up your time and not providing what you truly want? It’s time to let go.

·                  PISCES [the Fish]: Two of Wands

The Two of Wands carries the energy of Mars in Aries – and that’s where Mars is this week, standing at a crossroads. Which direction shall you take? Both provide a positive opportunity. It’s up to you to determine the challenge you want to undertake.
