“in quietness and trust is your strength” Isaiah 30:15
An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot. Please remember that astrology aspects are not predictions but merely signposts to help understand the astral influences that may affect you.
SUNDAY – The Sun has moved into Gemini and moves about a degree per day. It’s very busy this week aspecting other planets.
· Sun conjunct Uranus: This is an awakening, unpredictable transit that can bring sudden news, insights, or changes in direction. Unexpected communication or information may arrive and shift your perspective or plans. The change is not necessarily positive or negative—it may simply take things in a different direction. This influence remains strongest through Wednesday, then gradually begins to ease. [Remember – Uranus challenges rigid structures we have in place.]
· Sun sextile Neptune in Aries: There are opportunities to productively use your intuition and artistic nature – through Tuesday.
· Sun trine Pluto retrograde in Aquarius: This transit supports assertiveness, leadership, and thoughtful compromise. You may feel strongly called to focus on whatever matters most right now and to give your energy fully to the task at hand. At the same time, Mars in Taurus is squaring Pluto, which can stir intense and conflicting emotions. Because of that tension, you may feel more reactive or impatient with people who are not thinking along the same lines. Use this energy for steady, purposeful action rather than frustration. [Remember - Pluto remains retrograde until October, continuing to offer an opportunity for deeper transformation.] This energy will lessen by Thursday.
· Sun square the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo: This transit points to a needed realignment in direction. It asks you to move away from drifting, idealized thinking and toward greater clarity, order, and practical follow-through. If you have felt uncertain or scattered, this is the time to pause, make a concrete plan, and begin putting it into action. This influence is likely to feel strongest through Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY
· Venus in Cancer square Saturn in Aries: The confident, assertive momentum from the beginning of the week starts to fade under this transit. In its place, you may notice more inner tension, self-doubt, or hesitation about how to move forward. This energy can make it harder to stay steady and self-assured, especially in situations that require emotional clarity or direct action. This influence is likely to continue through the end of the week.
· The Moon in Libra square Jupiter in Cancer: This is a one-day effect as the Moon moves quickly, but you may feel self-indulgent. Just be aware – or enjoy it, depending on what you choose to indulge in! 😊
THURSDAY
· Chiron moves into 29° Aries through June 19. As you may recall, the 29° represents the karmic degree of intense energy and an urgency to complete tasks before moving into the next sign. When Chiron moved into Aries in 2018, its energy was focused on self-identity. Now it’s providing energy for some self-focus and self-acceptance of who you are/have become before moving into Taurus on June 19.
SUNDAY, MAY 31:
· Full Moon at 9° Sagittarius: This is the second Full Moon in May, making it an auspicious Blue Moon. With the Sun in Gemini, which emphasizes facts, opposing the Moon in Sagittarius, which emphasizes truth and wisdom, you may feel a pull between concrete evidence and your inner knowing, your gut instincts. Even so, this lunation, along with some complementing fixed stars, carries a nurturing quality that supports handling important matters with confidence, maturity, and steadiness.
· Looking at the 9° Sagittarius Moon families, with its New Moon on 12-1-2024, what were your emotions focused on? Then 8-31-2025, First Quarter Moon, what parallel action was occurring? Now, with the Full Moon, it’s time to celebrate how far you’ve come and make plans for completion at the Last Quarter Moon 2-28-2027. [For me, December 2024 I made the decision that I would retire at the end of the school year but concerned about finances. Then August 2025 was the last paycheck I received and was “fully” retired. Now I’m adjusted to retirement and found that the finances are working themselves out. Looking forward to what February 2027 will bring!]

TAROT
I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck. For the Collective card, an overview for all, I am using the Divine Angels Oracle deck.
· Collective card: Shift
“Take a look at your life and see which areas need to be shifted to bring you more joy. Take the time to reassess your priorities and create a plan for yourself.” Oh, my! This is SO on track with the astrology this week - with the Sun’s influences suggesting some shifts coming, Pluto’s “re-“ influence [reassess], and the Full Moon asking to make a plan! Wow.
· ARIES [the Ram]: Five of Pentacles
With three planets in Aries, even without an exact conjunction, you may still feel the lingering energy of that recent concentration. This may show up as a sense that something is missing, especially in practical or financial matters. Instead of feeding worry, take your cue from the Full Moon and the collective card: pause, make a plan, and focus on what you can do next. That is productive movement.
· TAURUS [the Bull]: Knight of Pentacles
With Mars currently in Taurus, you may be feeling a little worn down. Mars craves movement and momentum, while Taurus prefers calm, steadiness, and a gentler pace. This week, the Knight of Pentacles encourages you to focus on practical and material matters in a productive way—without letting Mars push you into overexertion or unnecessary ambition.
· GEMINI [the Twins]: Ten of Wands
The Sun’s entrance into Gemini may feel energizing and welcome. Still, this card is a reminder not to take on too much. Delegate when you can, turn down extra demands when needed, and make space for quiet time so you can fully enjoy the positive astrology this week.
· CANCER [the Crab]: The World
With Jupiter, the planet of abundance, in Cancer, it’s no surprise to see a card that reflects happiness, fulfillment, and harmony. This is a week to appreciate the joy in your life, celebrate what you have accomplished, and offer gratitude to your Higher Spirit/God for the blessings you have received.
· LEO [the Lion]: Six of Cups
Nostalgia may surface this week. Instead of dwelling on what feels heavy, let yourself return to the memories that still bring warmth and meaning. Reflecting on the past can offer valuable insight and help you move into the future with greater confidence.
· VIRGO [the Virgin]: Temperance
With the South Node in Virgo, this is a time to release perfectionism and trust life’s natural flow and wisdom. Temperance encourages you to do that with balance and moderation. Let go gently—there’s no need to swing to the other extreme.
· LIBRA [the Scales]: Two of Wands
Wands often point to major areas of work, career, or business opportunity, and the Two of Wands suggests you are standing at a crossroads. A meaningful decision needs to be made. Even so, once you choose a direction, you may feel an unexpected letdown. After working hard to reach this point, you may find yourself wondering what comes next.
· SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Ten of Swords
Influenced by the Sun in Gemini, this card may reflect a sense of emotional weariness, as though you’ve been through a difficult stretch and are bracing for the next problem. Still, this is a reminder that things may be steadier than they feel in the moment, and life is likely better than your worries suggest.
· SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: The Devil
With the Full Moon approaching in Sagittarius, this is a time to be especially mindful of temptation and impulse. You may feel pulled toward what you want so strongly that it becomes harder to see a situation clearly. When facts and intuition seem to conflict, be careful not to dismiss the facts simply because they do not align with your deeper desires.
· CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Page of Cups
Capricorn’s natural ambition and sense of responsibility are softened this week by the gentle energy of Cups. The Page of Cups suggests a time for kindness, celebration, and creative openness. Let your imagination lead you toward something meaningful, beautiful, or quietly inspiring.
· AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Seven of Swords
With Pluto, the great transformer, now in Aquarius for the long term, the Seven of Swords suggests a need for caution this week and a deeper respect for your privacy. Be thoughtful about what you share and with whom. Time spent alone can be valuable, restorative, and well used.
· PISCES [the Fish]: Queen of Wands
With the North Node in Pisces, this is a time to trust your intuition more deeply. The Queen of Wands adds confidence, helping you move forward with assurance in your decisions. She also reflects a warm appreciation for life and a protective strength when facing opposition.
