For additional insight for my viewers, here is this week's Tarot reading. An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot.
· Retrogrades: This week five planets will be in retrograde – Jupiter [expansion]in Cancer, Saturn [responsibility] in Pisces, Neptune [dissolution] in Pisces, Uranus [lightning flashes of energy] in Taurus, and Mercury [the communicator] in Sagittarius. The word retrograde means going in reverse; however, these planets don’t actually go in reverse. They ‘pause’ while the other astral orbs continue to move forward, making these planets appear to go in reverse. During this pause, each of the planets’ energy pauses or releases the opposite and advises to ‘RE-‘: revise, reevaluate, regenerate, resurrect, etc. For example, while Jupiter is retrograde, reevaluate any plans for growth, and your emotions may be stronger; for Saturn, revisit where your responsibilities actually lie, and your dreams may be more vivid; Neptune, reconsider the advisability of ending a project/relationship, and your intuition may be stronger; Uranus, regenerate previous ideas for moving forward, and you may be feeling more resourceful, more attuned; Mercury, resurrect previous communications whether personally or professionally, and you may be feeling more adventurous about the prospect.
This week of retrogrades might be a bumpy ride for some; others may find relief. This depends greatly on where these planets’ aspects hit on your chart. As an example, the one that will probably affect me the most is Jupiter, because it’s in my first house of identity and self. If you have questions about where these planets are in your chart, feel free to email me and I will help you [no charge].
· Last Quarter Moon at 20° Leo. This completes a moon family that started in August 2023. What were your intentions at that time? Did they come to fruition? Where 17° - 23° Leo falls in your natal chart will give you an idea of direction of your intention. For example, if 20° Leo were in transit in your 3rd House, you may have recently completed a project or be nearing the end of a project that strongly expresses your ability to genuinely connect with others, whether in writing or orally.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck.
· Collective card: Queen of Cups
The Queen of Cups is all about unconditional love. What a beautiful card to have this week! With the retrogrades, now is your opportunity to REconnect with those who may be struggling through tensions this week and share your unconditional love.
· ARIES [the Ram]: The Sun
The Sun speaks to optimistic vibes, childlike joy, and expressions of individuality. The Saturn energy this week may affect you more than the other retrogrades. REconsider which path lightens your burdens. You may have some clarifying dreams. Try to REcollect and interpret them.
· TAURUS [the Bull]: Eight of Swords
You may be confused and feel in a hopeless situation, one that others could never understand. Give yourself the grace to acknowledge you may not have all the information needed to REsolve your issue. Jupiter energy will likely affect you most this week. If you get teary-eyed, let it come. That RElease allows you to REgroup your thoughts and start to look for helpful answers.
· GEMINI [the Twins]: Queen of Swords
You have experienced difficult situations in the past and gained wisdom from those experiences. This week the Uranus energy may affect you more than others as it left Gemini when it retrograded. You may be carrying the last tremors as Uranus moves into Taurus, giving you the REsources to moving forward with a new project.
· CANCER [the Crab]: Five of Wands
Although Cancer does not enjoy conflict, the Five of Wands is more about playful competition rather than true conflict. Saturn’s energy might weigh on you a bit more than the other retrogrades this week, but not overly so. Your dreams may be more active with you inviting conflict/competition into a situation. The Last Quarter Moon on Wednesday will likely show you some REdirection of a situation you’ve been mulling over.
· LEO [the Lion}: Knight of Wands
Your impulsiveness could cause you to feel scattered, trying to go in too many directions at once. Slow down. REassess what gives you most joy and satisfaction. The Moon phase easily affects your communication skills. Be careful what you say. REthink!
· VIRGO [the Virgin]: King of Cups
You have a strong sense of responsibility. For this reason, the Saturn energy will likely affect you more than the other retrogrades. With Saturn in Pisces, your tact and diplomacy of a situation may cause you to conceal your own emotions in favor of REstoring someone else’s balance.
· LIBRA [the Scales]: The Hermit
The Hermit asks for introspection, for time to REawaken your inner spirit and seek guidance for who and what matters most in your life. You may feel the energy of Mercury’s retrograde more than the others, providing you with opportunities to learn how to teach and guide others to self-development.
· SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Justice
With the Sun currently in intense and powerful Scorpio, the Justice card is encouraging you to REview recent actions and discover what you learned as a result. REassessing where the balance lies aids you in making positive and fair decisions in the future in similar situations.
· SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: The Empress
The Empress denotes passionate creativity; and with several retrogrades, emotions are running high; could be emotions that excite and REenergize! With Mercury stalled in Sagittarius, your creativity could show up in lines of communication. Are you a writer? A poet? Blogger? Now is a great time to hone those skills.
· CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Judgement
Although Capricorn is steadfast in its duties, now is not the time to harshly judge yourself. The Judgement card asks for REbirth, a transition from the mundane to a more meaningful life. It’s time to lighten your load.
· AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Three of Cups
Aquarians generally enjoy groups; however, sometimes three’s a crowd. Saturn, Mercury, and Uranus energies may provoke you to speak out strongly in an uncomfortable situation. If your words were truthful, not harsh, let the chips fall where they may. Otherwise, to maintain peace, an apology may smooth and help REsolve the tension.
· PISCES [the Fish]: Four of Cups
Imagine sitting under a big shade tree with a gentle breeze blowing, not a care in the world. That’s where the Four of Cups leads you! At least, to that state of mind. The retrogrades this week may challenge you, but REfrain from taking those bumps too seriously. Life is good.
