WEEK’S OVERVIEW: As we close out Sun time in harmonic Libra and the Sun enters Scorpio, we move into a transitional stage requiring time to adjust our perceptions and overall journey in life, and to be kind to ourselves in the process.

MOON TRANSITS: “Emotional Weather”

·       Sunday: First Quarter Moon at 25° Capricorn. If you’re feeling restless today, take care of necessary obligations and then take some time for yourself.

o   Moon in Capricorn square Chiron rx in Aries echoes taking time for yourself today.

o   Late in the evening, the Moon enters Aquarius, providing clearer thinking. There’s a strong probability that you’ll wake up on Monday feeling energized and ready to embrace dropping a bad habit.

·       Monday: Moon in Aquarius trine Uranus rx in Gemini. Be flexible.

·       Wednesday: Moon enters Pisces. Avoid making serious decisions, if possible. This is a creative period which could easily lead to high emotions and overindulgence.

·       Friday: Moon enters Aries, providing abundant energy which could turn into over-assertiveness. Avoid being too “pushy.”

ONGOING:

·       Venus, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, and Neptune are in retrograde status, offering moments to pause and reconsider options. In varying transits, all the retrogrades are encouraging slowing down, reflecting, and reassessing. Several of the retrogrades focus on personal inner growth and releasing past hurts with available healing energy.

·       October is a 2-month in a 1-year. While a 1-year is about new beginnings, the presence of the 2-month introduces cooperative and collaborative energy. Think about teamwork. With most of the retrogrades continuing throughout the month, your energy and emotional levels may come into play in unexpected ways concerning your focus on partnerships in both personal and business connections.

SUNDAY

·       Continuing from last Friday, Mars in Leo trine Saturn rx in Aries through Tuesday. Mars provides optimistic, outgoing energy. Saturn encourages discipline and endurance to stay focused without trying to control. This aids in moving forward with clarity. Follow your instincts. Delays could be to your benefit.

MONDAY

·       Venus rx in Scorpio square Pluto in Aquarius until the end of the week, bringing on some moodiness. This is a time to express yourself with honesty in relationships – personal, business, and with yourself.

WEDNESDAY

·       Sun in Libra opposite Chiron rx in Aries. This energy has been building for the last couple of days and will continue until Friday. Painful memories may surface, giving you the opportunity to forgive. This could be toward someone or yourself. It’s time to let go and move on.

FRIDAY

·       Sun settles into Scorpio for the next month. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL SUN SCORPIOS! As the Sun moves from Libra’s drive for harmony, Scorpio is ready to move toward transformation and sharpened perceptions, digging deep to find the emotional courage to release whatever fear is holding you back.

o   Sun conjunct Venus rx. Forget your fears for the day and enjoy time with loved ones. If today is of no particular special occasion, create a celebration to share with those you care about most.

·       Mercury retrogrades at 20° Scorpio until mid-November. How we communicate is very relevant during this period. Although Scorpio tends towards bluntness and occasional sarcasm, Mercury being retrograde softens these tendencies, and suggests releasing sharp feelings through art, music, and dance.

·                  ARIES [the Ram]: Treasure Island

Watch and listen for the signs, because abundance surrounds you this week. This may show up in many ways – relationships, peaceful feelings, and/or financially. Saturn and Chiron [both rx in Aries] help supply this feeling of abundance. Smile, for life is good.

·                  TAURUS [the Bull]: Community

Although Taureans enjoy their solitude, this week you’re encouraged to spend time with others. It could be a small group of like-minded friends or the comfort of close family. Sometimes companionship is what is needed to retain balance in your life.

·                  GEMINI [the Twins]: Mending

With Uranus rx in Gemini currently, the Mending card focuses on changing your outlook about forgiveness. If there’s someone or something that you’ve decided you can never forgive, explore ways to forgive yourself for feeling the way you do. Release those past sorrows for your own peace of mind.
