Astrology/Tarot Readings Week of June 14, 2026

in quietness and trust is your strength”   Isaiah 30:15

An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot. Please remember that astrology aspects are not predictions but merely signposts to help understand the astral influences that may affect you.

SUNDAY

·       New Moon at 24° Gemini, inviting you to return to ideas you may have set aside because they once felt unrealistic or out of reach. This is a good time to dust off those plans and give them fresh consideration. Whether you’ve been thinking about writing a book, returning to school, or pursuing another learning opportunity, the energy of Gemini supports curiosity, communication, and forward movement. If a possibility has been quietly calling to you, this may be the moment to stop dismissing it and begin exploring what it would take to move ahead. It’s time to think differently.

·       Chiron continues to be at 29° Aries. The 29th degree represents the karmic degree of intense energy and an urgency to complete tasks before moving into the next sign. When Chiron moved into Aries in 2018, its energy was focused on self-identity. Now it’s providing energy for some self-focus and self-acceptance of who you are/have become before moving into Taurus on June 19. This week is a good one for reflection.

·       Venus at 0° Leo still squares Chiron at 29° Aries as was reported last week. However, Venus has moved off the 29th degree. Venus seeks harmony and calm, but Chiron prefers attempts to heal the past. Childhood pains of rejection may creep into your thoughts. Is there a need to hold onto that pain or can you release it? This energy is lessening today.

·       As reported last week: Uranus in Gemini squares the North Node in Pisces until Wednesday. This aspect may cause some tense and unexpected events, which could encourage you to shift directions and grow in a more innovative way.

MONDAY through Friday Venus in Leo news:

·       Venus sextile Uranus in Gemini creates surprises in love and/or money, either beneficial or detrimental; either way, it will be unexpected.

·       Venus trine Neptune brings sensitivity and compassion to the forefront. Sharing your creative talents with loved ones could prove satisfying and nurturing.

·       Venus opposite Pluto in Aquarius retrograde signifies a change, possibly in personal relationships creating drama. During this time, to maintain balance, direct your energy toward creative activities. It’s not an ideal time to make big decisions.

TUESDAY

·       Moon and Mercury conjunct in Cancer. This is a one-day influence bringing forward intuition and inspiring imagination. It’s a time to speak from your feelings without letting your emotions overwhelm the situation.

WEDNESDAY

·       Mercury in Cancer sextile Mars in Taurus. This energy brings forth curiosity and desire for learning and is strongest until June 26. The Cancer influence encourages nurturing, and Taurus, harmony and grounding. You may find yourself suddenly wanting to delve into your family history or finding a new health regime.

·       Moon and Venus conjunct in Leo. Again, this is a one-day influence, bringing joyful energy. Combined with the Mercury/Mars aspect, this could bring out your best in a learning endeavor.

FRIDAY

·       Chiron enters Taurus briefly before turning retrograde in September. [Just a side note: Chiron rules astrology and Tarot, and its birth position is 3° Taurus; so, it definitely enjoys being in Taurus.] For the next few months, be aware of your quality of life, define your values, and notice where you express compassion most.

SUNDAY, JUNE 21

·       First Quarter Moon at 0° Libra. This opens a period of harmonic energy and active growth. The growth of an idea/activity that formed about nine months ago is exciting but could also be cause for some anxiety and uncertainty, not knowing the ultimate outcome. With Libra providing balance, stay the course and move forward, not worrying about the end result just now.

·       Sun enters Cancer, a water sign ruled by the Moon. Empathy and nurturance abounds.

In considering all of these planetary aspects, more is revealed when you are aware of which houses these aspects present themselves in your natal chart and the other transits affecting in your natal chart.

TAROT

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck. For the Collective card, an overview for all, I am using the Divine Dog Wisdom oracle deck. I find it noteworthy that five of the twelve cards are Pentacles, which represent practicality, material matters, stability, and self-worth. Looking back at the astrology, the majority of the aspects introduce ideas that deal with the practical side of life.

·                 Collective card: Instinct

“Trust your intuition.” This is always good advice, and particularly so this week with Venus’ multiple aspects and the influence of Chiron.

·                  ARIES [the Ram]: Ten of Pentacles

This is a week of wealth and abundance. That does not necessarily imply monetary, although it could. It definitely speaks to recognizing the sheer magic of life. Where do you see abundance in your life? Give gratitude for what you have.

·                  TAURUS [the Bull]: The Emperor

Taureans are generally reserved, grounded souls. The Emperor reminds you to contemplate why you are benevolent and compassionate and why you prefer stability and order. This will clear your mind of any imbalance you’re encountering.

·                  GEMINI [the Twins]: Judgement

The Judgement card warns of judging yourself too severely. With the New Moon occurring in Gemini, this is a perfect time for regeneration, of allowing yourself to move forward with a new idea/project.

·                  CANCER [the Crab]: Page of Cups [reversed]

As I was shuffling, this card fell out of the deck upside down. It was meant to be; and it’s indicating to follow your instincts, that whatever fear has kept you from enjoying a new pursuit, it’s time to put that fear to rest and enjoy a positive moment.

·                  LEO [the Lion]:   Queen of Swords

With Venus in Leo this week, it would be easy to assume love and harmony; however, the Queen of Swords warns that Leos tend to speak more directly than necessary, sometimes causing hurt feelings. Be mindful of this so that you don’t spoil tender moments with loved ones.

·                  VIRGO [the Virgin]: King of Pentacles

This card indicates prosperity. Although you may feel there are financial issues, you’re actually more stable than you give yourself credit for. It’s that Virgo sense of perfectionism interfering with the truth of the situation.

·                  LIBRA [the Scales]: Four of Pentacles

Since Librans seek to maintain balance, they tend to control, assuming they know what’s best to bring harmony. It’s a power thing. If you find yourself leaning toward attempts to control others, step back and focus on self-preservation. Let others provide for themselves. That’s not selfish.

·                  SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Six of Pentacles

Your intense feelings may overwhelm a situation. Approach with generosity. You have a psychic ability to recognize what others need; however, pushing the situation is not helpful. Gentleness and an easy nature will serve your purpose.

·                  SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Eight of Pentacles

As Sagittarians tend to aim high, this week is an excellent time to be practical, follow routine and steady work. Lovingly apply your high intelligence to material matters. That’s where you’ll be most successful.

·                  CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Justice

This card represents checks and balances. Consider choices made. Events have worked out the way they were meant to. Be honest with yourself. If things didn’t work out as you had hoped, remember that lessons learned can be beneficial in future situations.

·                  AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Ace of Cups

Pluto is in Aquarius; it’s innovative and avoids tradition. That being the case, the Ace of Cups suggests new beginnings around nurturance and romance [intimate relationships or ideas]. What out-of-the-box idea have you been contemplating? This could be the time to bring it into the open.

·                  PISCES [the Fish]: The Fool

The Fool card is, in some ways, a misnomer. People tend to associate “the fool” with being foolish. That’s not the case at all. It implies infinite potentiality and the eagerness to explore new possibilities, urging you on despite whatever fears you may have. This week, be like The Fool: be courageous and optimistic. Life is a grand adventure.

When checking the Zodiac signs, look at not only your Sun sign, but also your Moon sign and Ascendant to get a fuller picture.
