TAROT FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 8, 2025

·        Mercury enters Cancer for most of the rest of June. Intuition and feelings of empathy are high.

·        Jupiter enters Cancer until the end of the month. This is a feel-good, generous transit.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the Divine Dog Wisdom Cards by Randy Crutcher and Barb Horn.

·       Collective card: ACTION; seize the day

What a great card for this week, particularly today, Pentecost Sunday. This week is a particularly good time to take action in what brings you joy; and to start visualizing what life could be like if you would just get rid of the "riff-raff" that's holding you back from discovering your true self.

·        ARIES [the Ram]: JOY; find your bliss

With Cancer currently dominating, now is the time to nurture home, particularly the kitchen. Find joy in cooking up something special and comforting; reminders of happy childhood meals. Not a cook? What area of the kitchen could be spruced up to feel more homey?

·        TAURUS [the Bull]: VULNERABILITY; the strength to show yourself

Even though your nurturing spirit may feel a responsibility to others, being vulnerable and allowing others to help you is an excellent form of subtle communication [Mercury] that you trust them. Sometimes letting go is the best form of being in charge.

·        GEMINI [the Twins]: LISTENING; pay close attention

"Listening is a whole body experience ... one that requires focus and persistence in the face of endless distraction." [Crutcher & Horn, p 96] This week the continuing conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter [both leaving your sign] is gifting you with the strength to slow down and really listen to what your heart is telling you. Your intuitive nature advises that you listen to your gut instinct in making choices this week.

·        CANCER [the Crab]: CELEBRATION; acknowledge your victories

There's lots to celebrate! Mercury and Jupiter thrive in Cancer and, combined, allow for much luck and generosity. Goals are being achieved. If you've not quite gotten to your goal yet, it's near [believe it or not]; and you deserve a pat on the back for how far you've come. Give yourself that much!

·        LEO [the Lion}: FAITH; you have all you need right now

Call it what you like - Great Spirit, God, Allah, the Nameless One - it doesn't matter. It's not the name that guides you but the essence, the Spiritual Being. You are a leader with great vision at this time. May the Force be with you - but don't let it go to your head!

·        VIRGO [the Virgin]: BREAKTHROUGH; be bold

Something hasn't been quite right lately, and you may not have been able to put your finger on it. This new nurturing phase in Cancer has helped open your eyes to the problem. Now, be brave enough to follow through. It might be time to "leave the pack" and forge your own path.

·        LIBRA [the Scales]: PLAYFULNESS; just for fun

You know that life is about balance and harmony. You've been taking on a great deal of responsibility [with Saturn in Aries opposite you]; and now it's time to put that aside for a bit and have some fun. Be light-hearted - skip down the lane; blow bubbles in the park; chase butterflies. Life is short. It's totally time to let your inner child out to play.

·        SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: GRATITUDE; give thanks

Scorpio is trine to Cancer, and with all the nurturance of that aspect, this is an opportune occasion to show your appreciation to those around you that mean the most. You don't always openly express your innermost feelings, but the passion swells inside. Now let it show.

·        SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: GUIDANCE; help is on the way

Your independence and free-spirited thinking is one of your greatest qualities, but with the Full Moon occuring in your sign, now may be the best time to seek the guidance of someone you respect. You are not required to go it alone. Input from others can lead to new inspiration. "The Universe is unconditional in its support of you when you give it half a chance." [Crutcher & Horn, p 73]

·        CAPRICORN [the Mountain Goat]: LONELINESS; longing to belong

Cancer's nurturing, expansive transits can be playing havoc with the seriousness of its opposite, Capricorn. You may be feeling a little out of touch or ignored. Don't let that get you down. If you want to have a friend, be a friend. Is there someone you know that's also feeling a little left out? Do something to cheer them up; it will help you immensely. And if you're not feeling lonely, maybe you need to simply enjoy some well-deserved quite time alone.

·        AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: PURPOSE; follow your path

Innovation and forward-thinking are just a couple of your strong traits; however, you may have gotten distracted somewhere along the way and feel mired down. Spend some reflective time with friends to get out of the muck and back on track with your true purpose in life. What was that inspiring goal again?

·        PISCES [the Fish]: ENDURANCE; keep your eye on the ball

Finally, Saturn has moved out of Pisces, and hopefully you've had a chance to catch your breath from the turmoil. Those ideas/goals you had only a couple of months ago really are doable. Maybe a little tweaking is necessary but don't let go of those dreams just yet. The North Node is still in Pisces, providing the creative to succeed.
