Tarot Readings for the Week of March 15, 2026

And there will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars.” Luke 21:25

An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot. Please remember that astrology aspects are not predictions but merely signposts to help understand the astral influences that may affect you.

Saturn and Neptune continue to be conjunct in Aries, 2° - 3° apart, and will remain in a close conjunction until mid-April, when they begin to move out of close alignment. Saturn is the Lord of Karma [in Tarot, the ruler of the Universe]; is serious, disciplined, authoritative and powers the body. Neptune, on the other hand, is the Ruler of the Seas, who dissolves, blends, spiritualizes, and powers the mind. Aries is all about self-discovery, new beginnings, action, and inspiration. The combination of these three is a time for new beginnings after ridding ourselves of what we no longer need in our lives. This conjunction may have been felt for several months as Saturn and Neptune danced back and forth in retrogrades between Pisces and Aries before it released on February 20th and will continue its influence until April. Urges for new goals/new outlooks will certainly be in effect.

SUNDAY: Mercury [retrograde] conjunct Mars conjunct North Node in Pisces. This is an intuitive period, where you may be receiving spiritual messages. It’s also a good time to explore some healthier habits [which could take you out of your comfort zone, but that’s okay. New is good!] The Mars influence could drive you to be impatient or impulsive. Think before you speak. The conjunction with Mars will be most powerful until Wednesday. The conjunction of Mercury and the North Node urges you to work on your communication skills, particularly with groups until the end of the week.

MONDAY: Nothing new; just continuing aspects.

TUESDAY: The Moon conjunct Mercury and Mars in Pisces. This adds to the level of intuition and impulsiveness already present and can bring some unexpected emotions to the forefront.

Venus in Aries square Jupiter in Cancer until the end of the week. This tends to cause extravagance. Remember the Mercury/Mars/North Node bringing impulsiveness. So be careful of overindulgence, whether it be in spending, eating, or communicating with others.

WEDNESDAY: New Moon at 28° Pisces; a time for starting something new; perhaps developing your spirituality or intuitive skills.

The Sun in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus. Your unique talents have the opportunity to shine. Also the Sun is conjunct Neptune, causing an impulse to escape personal issues. Avoid making that escape through overindulgence.

THURSDAY: The Sun is at 29° Pisces, the anaretic degree and in alignment with Fixed Star Scheat. It’s interesting to note that when Scheat is in alignment with Mercury/Mars, there is a tendency toward recklessness. This seems to fall in line with the impulsiveness and extravagance going on this week. Be extra mindful. Also, the Sun’s astro location [and the presence of Scheat] signals an extra dose of intuition and spiritual insight before it leaves Pisces. Many feel they are not intuitive, but if you’ve ever started to buy something at the grocery store that was not on your list and you avoid buying it, only to realize a few days later that you needed that item, that’s your intuition trying to contact you.

Saturn in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius. This activates a transformative period, which has actually been inching up to each other for the past two weeks and will continue to have its effects until mid-April. This coincides with the Sun’s anaretic degree. Before the Sun leaves Pisces to begin anew in the first Zodiac sign of Aries, it encourages completion and necessary change before moving forward. Of course, there’s still the influence of the New Moon!

FRIDAY: The Sun moves into Aries [the Spring Equinox]. This signifies the start of Spring, where dormant plants become active and have new growth. This applies to humans as well. Time to activate newness into your life. Let the Sun shine on you!

Also, Mercury returns direct in Pisces. If you were feeling a little out of sorts, maybe feeling you weren’t getting your thoughts clearly across to others, that should be resolving itself.

SATURDAY: Mars in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer. Along with the Equinox, this aspect brings lots of energy and enthusiasm.

In considering all of these planetary aspects, more is revealed when you are aware of which houses these aspects present themselves in your natal chart and the other transits affecting in your natal chart.

TAROT

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. This week I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck.

·       Collective card: Strength

The Strength card provides just that – the strength to move forward with whatever comes our way. The combination of aspects this week may be daunting to some. Know that you have capability to acknowledge what’s going to work for you and what you need to be wary of. Sometimes positive change takes perseverance. Like a good friend of mine always says “Don’t stop before the miracle happens.”

·        ARIES [the Ram]: Seven of Swords

You may be feeling there’s not enough time to get everything done or that you’re wasting time with trivial matters. That’s because you’re very active and will always find more to do than there is time to do it in. “Wasting” time is a good thing. For Aries, that means that you’re resting a bit, which is necessary. Allow yourself to do that.

·        TAURUS [the Bull]: The Hermit

Taurus, you are usually very grounded and cautious. With the variety of aspects occurring this week, The Hermit is advising you to take some time out for introspection; a time to recharge. The Hermit is a teacher and a guide; in this case, asking you to withdraw a bit before jumping into the transitions that will be happening soon.

·        GEMINI [the Twins]: Five of Pentacles

Mercury rules Gemini; so you may feel more susceptible to the energy of Mercury and Mars this week, especially around your finances. This card indicates your need to overcome the stress that there’s not enough or that hardships abound. This may be your overindulgence this week. Worry will never solve a problem and zaps your energy to find solutions. Although Gemini can suffer from being scattered sometimes, you are also intelligent and adaptable. You will see this through.

·        CANCER [the Crab]: Nine of Wands

As a natural nurturer, you are likely to feel you’ve taken on too much recently or have too many irons in the fire. The Nine of Wands is suggesting that you take a moment for yourself to contemplate just when enough is enough, and allow your inner being to take the lead and lighten your load.

·        LEO [the Lion]:   Ace of Cups

This card generally equates to “Love makes the world go ‘round.” However, it’s also ruled by water, and Leo is a fire sign ruled by the Sun. Your spirits may be dampened a little this week, but you are surrounded by love, the spiritual basis that gives life meaning. Let the Sunshine bring happiness to your heart.

·        VIRGO [the Virgin]: Ace of Swords

Virgo is ruled by Mercury and Mercury has some strong energy this week. This card is making you aware [as if you couldn’t tell from the astrology] that it’s time to look with a new perspective. Are you seeing the glass half full or half empty? Are you seeing your opportunities as burdens? Now is not the time to be a perfectionist. Let your inner spirit guide the way.

·        LIBRA [the Scales]: Nine of Swords

Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and harmony; however, the Nine of Swords is ruled by Mars, who is very active this week. Your anxious feelings are actually a result of the astrology, not because of any personal issues. Maintain your balance, which you are so good at, and before you know it, this too shall pass.

·        SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Page of Swords

Just because Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars and Pluto does not mean that you have to let that energy become a personal battle. Seek the high ground; enjoy a new perspective. You are resourceful by nature. Consider all the positive that is going on this week and leave the rest by the side of the road.

·        SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Four of Wands

Venus in Aries rules the Four of Wands. This card signifies a celebration, an aura of happiness in the home/family environment. Jupiter rules Sagittarius. So, the energy from the aspect of Venus square Jupiter is likely to affect you more than others. Be wary of overindulging in your domestic life simply because you’re feeling optimistic and content.

·        CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Seven of Cups

The Seven of Cups warns of having too many options. This could be an issue with the energy of overindulgence. Capricorn, you’re very responsible and serious about your goals. As a long-term planner, spend this week visualizing an optimistic future, and avoid allowing false pleasures to misguide you.

·        AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Judgement

The Judgement card indicates a rebirth, like the Spring Equinox. The energy this week, along with this card, is signifying a call to make some significant change. Start with coming to terms with something in your past that has kept you from moving forward. Lighten your load from the past to rise to a more meaningful life.

·        PISCES [the Fish]: The Fool

What an excellent card to receive, Pisces! As the Sun is leaving Pisces, remember that an anaretic degree often leaves a gift – and in your case, it’s The Fool card. This card is the first of the Tarot deck and is the number zero – infinity. There’s an unconditional love for life here and the joy of exploring the unknown future. There’s so much to look forward to. Enjoy!
