TAROT FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 26, 2025

For additional insight for my viewers, I am starting a weekly Tarot reading.

Let's start with an overview of major astrology transits for this week to help focus the Tarot.

• Saturn moves into Aries. This is probably the biggest event of the year. Saturn spends about 3 years in each sign. It's been in Pisces, which is introspective, and is now in Aries, which is about the bold self.

• Mercury, the Messenger, enters Gemini, the Twins, giving a multi-faceted approach to communications.

• Last but definitely not least, a New Moon occurs in Gemini on Tuesday. This is an opportunity for curiosity leading to new ideas and new beginnings.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to the intuition coming forth as I shuffle my cards. For this reading, I'm using the standard Rider Waite Tarot deck.

• The collective card I drew as an overview for all: Eight of Wands

Wands are fire/action cards, just like the Fire signs in Astrology. Aries [where Saturn is] is a Fire sign. The eight represents movement and accomplishing what you set out to do. So, overall, this week is going to be moving fast and furious. Avoid getting overwhelmed and overdoing. Stop, take a moment to focus and get back in control of where you really want to go. Take time for yourself to plan your priorities.

• ARIES [the Ram]: Seven of Wands

  Wands are fire/action cards, just like the Fire signs in Astrology. Aries [where Saturn is] is a Fire sign. The Seven, although a card of conflict, indicates winning the battle. Whatever your struggle, whether intellectual or material, you have the power and confidence to come out on top. Your sign is in the limelight this week. Don't quit before the miracle happens.

• TAURUS [the Bull]: Seven of Cups

  Cups are water/heart-felt cards, just like the Water signs in Astrology. This week pay attention to your dreams. Dreams have deep meaning if you break down each part and analyze it. This could refer to a deep emotional situation or a more spiritual struggle. Don't be bull-headed; it's okay to allow an emotional release. Tears are rain clearing the fog.

• GEMINI [the Twins]: Six of Cups

  Cups are water/heart-felt cards, just like the Water signs in Astrology. The Six can indicate an unequal relationship, which often leads to generosity on one side or the other. This week, particularly with the New Moon in Gemini, is an opportunity for you to be of service to others; and in return, you will gain inner wealth.

• CANCER [the Crab]: Seven of Pentacles

  Pentacles are earth/material cards, just like the Earth signs in Astrology. Seven indicates a struggle. This week patience is the key. There's a lot of change happening in the Astrology this week that could be affecting your centeredness. Resist that urge to move sideways. Express your gratitude and know that this too shall pass.

  
  

• LEO [the Lion]: Three of Wands

  Wands are fire/action cards, just like the Fire signs in Astrology. Leo is a Fire sign. While there may be great movement around you this week, you have a sense of contentment that all is going well in your world or is shaping up to be that way very soon. It's not necessary to roar for attention; those around you recognize and appreciate your strength.

  
  

• VIRGO [the Virgin]: Nine of Pentacles

  Pentacles are earth/material cards, just like the Earth signs in Astrology. Virgo is an Earth sign.This week pause to recognize and give yourself a little pat on the back for all you have accomplished. In this busy flowing week, it would be easy to get caught up in looking at what still needs to be done. Don't go there. Have gratitude for all that is good.

  
  

• LIBRA [the Scales]: Death

  This is one of the Major Arcana cards; and while it may seem intimidating, it simply indicates a need for change. Each death brings new life. Whatever balance we strive for in life causes us to recognize what needs to change [or die away] to bring forth that which we truly desire. What bad habit needs to die to allow a more joyful growth?

  
  

• SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Ace of Wands

  Wands are fire/action cards, just like the Fire signs in Astrology. The Ace indicates a new direction, new opportunities. With Saturn in Aries now, the time is ripe to explore that adventure you've been contemplating. This could be the start of a great transformation in your life.

  
  

• SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Queen of Cups

  Cups are water/heart-felt cards, just like the Water signs in Astrology. Your level of maturity and wisdom will be needed this week, as those around you seek guidance. Your philosophic yet adventurous spirit will keep those nearest to you from getting too caught up in the changes whirling around.

  
  

• CAPRICORN [the Mountain Goat]: Three of Cups

  Cups are water/heart-felt cards, just like the Water signs in Astrology. What do you feel like celebrating this week? This is a time of enjoying a job well done, whether at work, at home, or spiritually. You've made it to the top of "your mountain," whatever it was you were striving for.

  
  

• AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Strength

  This is one of the Major Arcana cards; and truly what I consider one of the best cards of the deck. This week the world is at your feet. What is your greatest dream? What must you do to accomplish that? You have all the tools you need. Saturn rules Aquarius; so go for it - in a brilliant Aquarian way.

  
  

• PISCES [the Fish]: The Fool

  This is one of the Major Arcana cards, but don't be fooled by the name. The Fool card indicates a measure of innocence and optimism. Who couldn't use a bit of both occasionally? This week go forth with confidence in everything you do, but above all, trust your gut instinct. That will serve you well.
