Tarot Reading for Week of September 14, 2025

For additional insight for my viewers, here is this week's Tarot reading. An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot.

• We are in Eclipse Season. Sunday, September 21, will be a New Moon partial Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo. This is one degree of leaving the sign of Virgo [called anaretic degree]. This usually means things happening faster than usual. Look at which house 27° Virgo to 2° Libra is in your chart to get a better idea how this New Moon may affect you. • Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in Aries is in opposition to Mars, the Motivator, in Libra. This could be a very successful time to listen to your inner child’s need to heal some hurt from the past. Where could you forgive yourself, let “it” go, and move forward with confidence?

• The Sun in Virgo is conjunct Mercury in Virgo and sextile Jupiter in Cancer. This represents positive opportunities for clear communication. The area of life most affected depends on which houses Virgo and Cancer fall in on your natal chart.

• Collective card: Knight of Wands

What a great card for this week! The Knight is eager to achieve, somewhat like Mars. Energy and confidence allow for great achievement this week. This energy in light of the upcoming eclipse could cause some impulsiveness, trying to run in all directions at once. Plan first; act next. This could also involve some adventure and travel.

• ARIES [the Ram]: Three of Pentacles

Commit to doing masterful, practical work not only in work but at home and in your hobbies to help heal whatever negative vibes you may be putting on yourself. You are good at what you do, you have a good heart, and you deserve the recognition that is coming your way.

• TAURUS [the Bull]: Judgement

You may be hearing a subtle call to make some significant change. Coming to terms with past hurts may be enough. Lightening your daily load would also be beneficial. Consider your options without making a snap decision. Journaling/putting down on paper your thoughts about your choices can clear your mind and show the best path to take.

• GEMINI [the Twins]: Two of Wands

After a successful turn of events, you may feel you’re at a crossroads; but are you really? Maybe you just enjoy being immersed in achieving a goal and the feeling of triumph. Take a break. Then carefully plan your next aspiration, including every detail, and move forward with confidence.

• Cancer [the Crab]: Eight of Wands

Life seems to be happening fast this week. Tasks you think will take considerable time ultimately don’t, giving you a little extra time on your hands. Indulge in that hobby that you’ve neglected lately because you’re “too busy.” The Eight of Wands are also known as the “arrows of love.” This doesn’t necessarily mean romance [although it could],but simply feeling the unconditional love that surrounds you.

• LEO [the Lion}: King of Cups

You are diplomatic, disciplined, and responsible. Success comes naturally to you. Sometimes it’s hard to maintain that level of authority. Although you are creative, you may hide your emotions and be reluctant to express your inner self. It’s not a sign of weakness to relax your grip occasionally; and this week may be the best time to do so.

• VIRGO [the Virgin]: Ten of Pentacles

Material wealth and abundance are great, but what you possess this week is even greater. You are able to recognize the sheer magnificence and joy of life. Look around you – at home, family, career, friends, spirituality. Where do you have jubilant abundance? Appreciate it for what it is and show your gratitude.

• LIBRA [the Scales]: Seven of Pentacles

The effort you’ve recently put into a project [or maybe a relationship] has been beneficial. You can look forward, with satisfaction, to its ability to develop and grow on its own now. Your patience and nurturance has been a great accomplishment and is to be rewarded.

• SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Ten of Cups

Similar to Virgo this week, take joy in the wonders of life. Whether you have a large close-knit family, a happy extended family, or a small joyous group that you’ve woven into a family of sorts, celebrate that feeling of love that you get from being around them and being supported by them. They are gifts from God.

• SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Ace of Cups

The upcoming New Moon and the Ace are both hints of something new and joyous coming your way. The spiritual basis of this gift is what gives life meaning. This could be an advancement at work, a new relationship, a new family member; maybe even a new pet. Accept it with graciousness.

• CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Wheel of Fortune

As is often said, “The wheel turns.” Oh, so true this week. Some change may be occurring soon – or recently occurred – that may not necessarily seem the best. You may have taken a risk that isn’t turning out exactly as you planned. However, it’s providing you the opportunity to consider that this may have been God’s plan, and you need to reassess your primary goals.

• AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Two of Cups

Friendships come in all sizes and shapes, from nodding acquaintances to work-related teammates, to romantic relationships. Friendships often lead to deeper connections and give our lives more value. Look around you this week. Where do you intuitively feel a connection? Find your relationship balance.

• PISCES [the Fish]: The Magician

What miracles do you see unfolding this week? With the astrology, this could be a miracle of greater/clearer communication on your part about some area that’s been nagging at you. You are inspired with confidence to take action, be brave, and seek the resolution you so desire.
