For additional insight for my viewers, here is this week's Tarot reading. An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot.
Sunday, September 7, there is a total Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 15° Pisces. Because this eclipse occurs around noon CDT, we will not be able to see it. Those who live on the other side of our Earth and are having their nighttime are the ones who will get to glimpse this occurrence. Whether you can view it is not what’s important; it’s that it’s here. [For those who want more information, please read my blog on eclipses.] Also, look at what house 13° - 18° Pisces is in your natal chart to get a better idea of how this might affect you. [I have a blog that provides themes of each house.] Generally, this is a good week to relax, practice some meditation, some yoga; whatever will allow you to put your active brain on pause for a bit to seek strength from your inner self.
Additionally, on Sunday, [through September 14] the Sun is conjunct the transiting South Node in Virgo. This brings an inspiration to get in touch with your true self, to let go of what society has taught you to be or expected of you.
Venus is currently in Leo where it has been since the end of August and will remain until September 19. This is a charming period for relationships but may be encouraging you to seek perfectionism in your career. Learn some stress-relieving techniques so this won’t disrupt your personal life.
Mercury in Virgo sextiles the transiting Ascendant, improving communications, opportunities to teach someone one-on-one, and to travel. Mercury also trines the transiting Part of Fortune, creating harmony in communications and inspiring intellectual talents and skills.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck. For the Collective Card, I used the Divine Angel Oracle Deck.
It was interesting that many of the cards drawn were Cups, which relate to emotions, relationships, and inner feelings – all highlighted in this week’s astrology.
Collective card: Authenticity
“Be yourself, pursue your passions and show your authentic self. Don’t pay attention to what others are thinking of you.” This matches perfectly with the Full Moon and the Sun’s conjunction with the South Node. This theme showing up more than once enhances its importance.
ARIES [the Ram]: Six of Cups
Nostalgia crops up this week. You might be thinking of times gone by when you enjoyed the company of someone you’ve lost touch with. You may or may not choose to reconnect. The focus here is, what did you learn from that occasion and how can it help you improve on a current personal, family, or business relationship?
TAURUS [the Bull]: Eight of Pentacles
Paired with the themes of Mercury in Virgo this week, this card reiterates your desire to get projects done in a methodical, practical manner; to do the best you can and be proud of the result. It is not always about how much money you’ll make on the venture, but on the satisfaction of the accomplishment itself.
GEMINI [the Twins]:Seven of Swords
Security is key. Take those precautions that you have put off, like changing passwords on vital accounts. Someone you encounter this week may not be giving you their most honest advice or information. Trust your instincts. If an opportunity sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Other opportunities will come along.
CANCER [the Crab]: Death
This card always makes people wary, but it does not refer to literal death. The Death card is advising you to get rid of that which is holding you back. You can’t move forward if old baggage is weighing you down. With the Full Moon in action this week, now is a great time to pause and consider what is emotionally keeping you from your goal.
LEO [the Lion]: The Sun
It’s a great week for having a great week! In astrology, the Sun rules Leo; and this week, Leo is enjoying the harmony and charisma of Venus. There is a spring in your step and a vitality that makes people want to be around you. In numerology, the Sun card is 19 – a one and a nine, the beginning and the end of the scale; it’s all inclusive. Everything is about you! 1 and 9 adds up to 10, which 1 and 0 reduces to 1, “the self”, making it again all about you!
VIRGO [the Virgin]: The Lovers
Usually when people see this card, they jump to the conclusion of some romantic involvement. It could be that; but more likely, it refers to a release of ego, of making a choice to embrace the love that surrounds you. Take the time this week to accept and openly acknowledge not only the love of family and friends, but also God’s love. He will never let you down.
LIBRA [the Scales]: Queen of Pentacles [Reversed]
As a reversed card, this indicates doubt or distrust of your innate abilities. You are usually confident, but the energy surge from the Full Moon may have you a little off balance. Don’t let it ruin your week. If you feel weepy, then cry; it’s a good means of releasing that negative energy. Give yourself some private time to reenergize. This too shall pass.
SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Ace of Cups
In astrology, Scorpio is a water sign that holds a positive aspect with Pisces, which is the sign of our current Full Moon. The Cups in Tarot represent water, and the Ace indicates the start of something new, which generally plays out over a year’s time. The focus on water implies emotions and, with specifically Scorpio, the deepest human bonds. This week may seem a little topsy-turvy, the energy waves being high right now. However, as the Full Moon passes, the waves will ebb, and a new outlook of love and devotion will peacefully surround you and guide you to a beneficial opportunity.
SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: The Hierophant
The themes of Sagittarius and the themes of the Hierophant are so closely aligned! Ethics, philosophy, and spiritual wisdom connect the two. Since you naturally lean toward these themes, Sag, this week is more intense. Be aware that not everyone shares your value of being on the up-and-up. Take the high road, and don’t let anyone sway you from what you know is right.
CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: The Chariot
The Chariot moves, and this week your career could be taking a turn for the better. Your drive to steadily climb the mountain like the goat is paying off in some way. Your maturity and your successes in the past are admired by those who matter. Continue forward, withstanding the ripples of strong energy from the Full Moon.
AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Two of Cups
Being known as the Water Bearer, and Cups implying water, Aquarians are carrying a heavy emotional burden right now. Although you feel you must decide, it doesn’t have to be this week. Allow yourself a break from any negative energy bearing down on you. Take a walk along the shore; dip your feet in a stream; stand in a soft rain; soak in a warm bubble bath. Let gentle water wash away your fears.
PISCES [the Fish]: Three of Cups
With the Full Moon occurring in Pisces, now is a good time to take a close look at your relationships – work, family, personal. What needs to change? The saying, “Two’s company; three’s a crowd” may come to mind; but it doesn’t necessarily have to refer to a bad thing. Sometimes adding a third element can improve a situation. This could include a new employee to the business, a new baby, or even a new pet.
When checking the Zodiac signs, look at not only your Sun sign, but also your Moon sign and Ascendant to get a fuller picture. If you don't know what those are, email me with your date of birth, exact time and location of birth. I will be happy to send you a free copy of your natal chart.
