“And there will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars.” Luke 21:25
An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot. Please remember that astrology aspects are not predictions but merely signposts to help understand the astral influences that may affect you.
Saturn and Neptune continue to be conjunct at 0° Aries and will remain in a close conjunction until mid-April, when they will begin to separate somewhat more.
For those who may be unaware, Saturn and Neptune are conjunct in various zodiac signs every 35-36 years, but it’s been thousands of years since they have been conjunct in Aries and at the beginning of the sign [0°]. Saturn is the Lord of Karma [in Tarot, the ruler of the Universe]; is serious, disciplined, authoritative, and powers the body. Neptune, on the other hand, is the Ruler of the Seas, who dissolves, blends, spiritualizes, and powers the mind. Aries is all about self-discovery, new beginnings, action, and inspiration. The combination of these three can cause some astrologers to predict hard times; others [including me] are more optimistic. This is a time for new beginnings after ridding ourselves of what we no longer need in our lives.
This conjunction may have been felt for several months as Saturn and Neptune danced back and forth in retrogrades between Pisces and Aries before it released on the 20th and will continue its effects until April. Urges for new goals/new outlooks will certainly be in effect.
This week's astrology
Sunday:
· Mars [23° Aquarius] sextile Chiron [23° Aries]. This presents an active healing time, not just for yourself but your ability to aid others with your healing energy.
· Venus [15° Pisces] trine Jupiter [15° Cancer-retrograde]. Again, this is a calling to help others with your positive energy!
Monday:
· Moon [24° Taurus] conjunction Uranus [27° Taurus]. This energy is short-lived but exciting. Put your creative hat on and enjoy doing something you would consider out of the ordinary.
· Additionally, the Moon is square Mars [24° Aquarius]. This energy could dampen your spirits and cause you to be impatient; but again, remember that this will be short. The Moon moves quickly.
Tuesday:
· First Quarter Moon [5° Gemini]. Think about what project/idea you were considering back near the end of May of 2025. It’s coming around again, and this is the time for you to start acting on that plan.
Wednesday:
· Moon [23° Gemini] is both square Mercury [22° Pisces] and trine Mars [26° Aquarius]. Similar to Monday, there is a wobble. While Mercury’s influence may cause you to be indecisive, Mars is pushing you to be self-confident.
· Mars square Uranus [27° Taurus]. Uranus today is here to help get some level of control over the Moon’s conflicting energy.
Thursday:
· Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces [22°]. This sudden backing-up may cause some impatience and emotions. Now is not a good time to be making big decisions.
Friday:
· Sun [9° Pisces] conjunct the transiting North Node [8° Pisces]. The Sun shines and the North Node guides our soul. This is an opportunity to express your true self at home, at work, to the public. Let people know just who you are – and you are wonderful and unique!
· Adding to that vibe, Mercury retrograde is conjunct Venus [21° Pisces], encouraging you to express yourself in a loving manner. So, as you’re letting the world know the real you, do it in a loving tone.
Saturday:
· Chiron [24° Aries] sextile the transiting Ascendant [24° Gemini]. This is an excellent occasion to peacefully enjoy some quiet time to recognize all that you have to be grateful for and acknowledge your accomplishments.
In considering all of these planetary aspects, more is revealed when you are aware of which houses these aspects occur in your natal chart and other transits that align in your natal chart.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck.
· Collective card: Queen of Cups
The Queen of Cups represents unconditional love and compassion. While you may be reeling from the effects of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, consider the Venus influence this week and know that you have multiple spirits surrounding you with love and support. What a great card to start the week!
· ARIES [the Ram]:The Star
Aquarius rules the Star card, and currently, Mars is in Aquarius, pushing you to act on your ability to aid groups: family, community, work colleagues. The Star provides new energy [just like Mars], but also an inner strength and calm to not only move forward with confidence but to lead those around you in that same calm, positive direction.
· TAURUS [the Bull]: Four of Swords
Taureans prefer practicality and stability; so, all the energy this week may be a little unsettling. The Four of Swords suggests resting and withdrawing to regain strength. If struggles are facing you, call a truce until your energy level renews.
· GEMINI [the Twins]: Temperance
This week’s energy coming from several directions is probably inspiring, causing your creative juices to flow out in many directions. You love to learn new things, but this card suggests that you avoid overdoing it. Address all things in moderation. There will be enough time to do all you imagine, just not all in one week.
· CANCER [the Crab]: Four of Cups
Amazingly, the Four of Cups is ruled by the Moon in Cancer! With the Moon ruling Cancer and so much Moon influence this week, you are likely feeling somewhat emotional and maybe a little detached. This card is clearly speaking to you and lets you know that hope comes from within. Keep an open mind and look inward for your answers.
· LEO [the Lion]: The Hierophant
Leo is not only a confident leader, but a compassionate mediator. The Hierophant is led by Taurus, who stands on tradition. This week, Uranus, who encourages the unconventional, is in Taurus. You may find yourself in the position of helping solve a situation, which is normal for you; but instead of being serious-minded, you are likely to see the humor in the situation and suggest something completely unusual just to lighten the mood. Go ahead; have fun with it. Life doesn’t always have to be so serious.
· VIRGO [the Virgin]: Page of Cups
Mercury, who rules Virgo, goes retrograde this week, which can be a little disorienting. The Page of Cups is letting you know you are receiving extra love from above to help balance. Accept graciously the gentle kindness coming your way. Virgos have a tough time accepting help but allow yourself to accept this.
· LIBRA [the Scales]: King of Cups
Although Librans strive for balance in all things, this week’s energy may seem a bit overwhelming and out of balance. This card is reminding you to be diplomatic. Not everyone sees things the way you do. Curb whatever impatience may be rising to the surface and be socially responsible. You will feel good doing so.
· SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: The Tower
The Tower is call the House of God and is ruled by Mars. With the energy of Mars and the Saturn-Neptune conjunction this week, you are likely to deal with sudden enlightenment, maybe in a dream. Whatever it is, you are encouraged to let go of what has been repressed and holding you back so you can move forward with confidence. This is important.
· SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Five of Wands
You enjoy your adventures, whether large or small. This card, influenced by Saturn, is letting you know that the current strict, responsible energy of Saturn need not overtake your enthusiasm. Consider the energy as an exciting struggle and continue your climb to the top of the mountain.
· CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: The Chariot
Cancer, which is opposite Capricorn, rules the Chariot. The Chariot card represents the developed ego, the mature adult who is successful in life and admired by others. These are all solid traits of a Capricorn. Allow your inner ego/your soul [Neptune] to lead you to a peaceful state of mind, accepting the emotional energy of the week with gratitude.
· AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Four of Pentacles
Action-packed Mars is in Aquarius this week. The Four of Pentacles is prompting you to take control and be conservative in your actions. Avoid letting the energy get the best of you. If you don’t take care of your emotional and physical needs, who will? Self-preservation is not selfish. It’s necessary.
· PISCES [the Fish]: The Sun
With the Saturn-Neptune dance finally leaving Pisces for a long while, it’s time to celebrate and the Sun card is announcing that fact. You are likely feeling like a great weight has been lifted and life is looking more positive. It’s going to be a great week. The Sun shines brightly on you; soak it in.
