TAROT READINGS FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 5, 2025

For additional insight for my viewers, here is this week's Tarot reading. An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot.

  • Early in the week the Moon is moving through the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. This aspect has been ongoing most of the year and will continue for awhile yet. Currently the Moon passes through this aspect once a month. If you journal, check September 6th - 8th when the Moon last passed through this conjunction. How you were feeling, your level of energy, your challenges will be similar.  You may have been feeling a little more emotional than usual, particularly in how you view your responsibilities. Have you been too critical of yourself? Probably so; let it go. On October 5, the Moon will move into fire sign, Aries, where it’s ready to take action. Clear the cobwebs, and make a new agenda for whatever projects you have going or are anticipating.

  • Mercury [the messenger] ingresses into Scorpio, moving from an air sign [intellectual] to a water sign [emotional]; and on Tuesday, Mercury squares [challenge] Pluto, [personal transformation/rebirth]. Communication channels may have some static.

  • Full Moon at 14° Aries. Look at what house 12° - 16° Aries is in your natal chart to get an idea of the visionary aspects of this Full Moon. With the previous two aspects building on this fire sign Full Moon, you may be feeling like you’re taking two steps forward, one step back. You’re making progress but not in the steady, smooth fashion that you would prefer.

I always take a few moments of quiet to center myself, take a few deep breaths, and listen to intuition coming forth as I shuffle the cards. For the Zodiac signs this week, I'm using the traditional Rider-Waite deck.

  • Collective card: The Chariot

This card goes so well with the Full Moon, because it signifies moving forward, taking into account all facets of your project/responsibilities, looking for balance, harmony and grace. While you may want to speed up the process, that’s probably not going to happen this week. Take a deep, calming breath, and appreciate the “tortoise’s” slow, even-handed approach for now.

  • ARIES [the Ram]: The High Priestess

Interestingly, we have the Full Moon in Aries this week, and the High Priestess represents the Moon! This is an ideal week to make deep connections with God/Higher Spirit; to unplug from stress and have some private time exploring/discovering God’s message as to your purpose during this incarnation. You may feel a sense of clairvoyance or intuition. Simply listen!

  • TAURUS [the Bull]: Queen of Wands

This week may be intense for some, but you are in a happy place. You see the glass half full of exciting prospects and are willing to let them blossom in their own time.  Now would be a great week to share your smile and your optimism with those around you that may not be able to connect to your level of enthusiasm. Pay it forward now because you may be needing reminders of smiles and happiness yourself in the future.

  • GEMINI [the Twins]:Ace of Wands

Geminis love having choices, and the Ace of Wands prescribes just that! With the Full Moon urging action and moving forward, now you can explore doing something completely different, something out of the norm for you. The current astrological energy is supportive of such adventures.

  • CANCER [the Crab]: Eight of Cups

This card, in astrology, represents Saturn in Pisces, a time of reviewing responsibilities, of questioning validity or necessity in some of those duties. AND astrologically the Moon is currently passing through Saturn in Pisces, making this even more relevant! While nothing terrible is going on, you may be feeling restless and desiring to abandon the status quo to seek higher enlightenment. Connecting deeply with God is always a good step.

  • LEO [the Lion}: King of Swords

This is quite unique. Leo selected the King of Swords last week as well! The astrology varies some, but Leo is still wanting to share their clarity and wisdom in ongoing current events. The Moon in Aries, a fire sign, and Leo being a fire sign, you are likely feeling an urgent need to prompt those around you to follow your lead, which they may or may not choose to do. This will be particularly annoying to you this week.

  • VIRGO [the Virgin]: Ace of Swords

This is a chance to consider a new perspective. You are very grounded in day-to-day living and of material success. Sometimes our emotions get in the way of logic and common sense. Saturn in Pisces may be urging you to step back and explore some repressed anger. With Mercury prevalent this week, the anger is most likely related to a childhood experience or a childhood health issue. Going back to the Native American animal of Squirrel for this month, the suggestion is to not go nuts over the anger issue. Just be aware and explore as you feel emotionally able to.

  • LIBRA [the Scales]: Page of Swords

For one who enjoys harmony and calm, you may feel somewhat detached this week. Being critical of or comparing yourself to others’ life situations serves no purpose. Whether or not you deem yourself in better circumstances, there is no joy in looking down on those around you. Shake it off, and consider a new perspective on your life. Go for personal growth. What does your inner child say about healing yourself first?

  • SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Wheel of Fortune

Was there a recent change in the circumstances of your life? You may not understand why and may not have been responsible for the change, but it is significant in that it will lead you in a new direction that will help you recognize that fate always rests in God’s hands. Everything happens for a reason.

  • SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Nine of Wands

You have likely been taking on more than is necessary lately, feeling a need to help everyone you care about. It’s time to step back for a moment and take care of yourself. Re-energize by getting back in touch with Nature, with your inner Spirit, with God. Once you’re newly grounded, then you’ll be ready to achieve those milestones you’ve set for yourself.

  • CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: Justice

Your reputation is important to you. This is why a recent issue at work/community is gnawing at you. While you may think others may respect you less, that is not the case. We all make choices, and in acknowledging the responsibility that goes with our choice, we gain the wisdom from that action. It is the wise who lead with conviction and admiration.

  • AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Temperance

With the Full Moon encouraging action, you have the energy to mold your ideas into viable options and proceed with confidence. While you have many good innovations in mind, select one to invest time in. The Temperance card represents great creativity and the need to explore in moderation so as not to get overwhelmed.

  • PISCES [the Fish]: The Sun

What a great way to end the readings – with The Sun card! With the Moon and Neptune having just left Pisces and Saturn in Pisces currently, there is a release of emotional energy, and your vitality and confidence are returned. This is a great week to have a great week. Let life flow in a joyful manner!

When checking the Zodiac signs, look at not only your Sun sign, but also your Moon sign and Ascendant to get a fuller picture. If you don't know what those are, email me with your date of birth, exact time and location of birth. I will be happy to send you a free copy of your natal chart.
