Tarot Readings for the Week of April 19, 2026

SUNDAY

·       Mars conjunct Saturn in Aries: This combination will likely cause difficulties with self-expression. This energy continues through the week.

·       Sun conjunct Chiron in Aries: This energy is further complicating expressing yourself with others; think before you speak. With the Sun in the karmic 29° Aries [and Uranus 29° Taurus], be kind to yourself. This intensity will pass by tomorrow.

MONDAY

·       Sun moves into Taurus. Happy Birthday to Taurus! Taurus marks the fertility period in the year when the flowers are starting to bloom, birds are singing and making nests, some rain/some sun; life is good. Taureans are good natured, easy going, and loyal. Look for where 0° Taurus falls in your chart for where you’re most likely to be feeling that relaxed vibe. An interesting note this week: Taurus rules the throat, which could lean into the current energy of lacking clear self-expression.

·       Mercury conjunct Mars conjunct Saturn in Aries: Mercury has added to the Mars/Saturn energy, bringing with it some impulsivity and impatience. Again, now is a great time to think more, talk less. This is strongest until Friday.

WEDNESDAY

·       Moon conjunct Jupiter as it’s moved into Cancer. The Moon rules Cancer; so it’s happy there. With Jupiter’s expansive mood, the energy is optimistic and generous.

THURSDAY

·       Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus. Pressures earlier in the week lighten up a bit and Venus wants to get out of the rut, with the Uranus energy seeking some spontaneous fun. This will be strong until Sunday.

·       First Quarter Moon at 3° Leo. Leo is creative and self-confident. The abundant energy is there to start sprucing up a particular area of your home – or your life.

·                 Collective card: Security

“Work hard and stay disciplined to unlock a happy, wealthy and successful life. Your guardian angels are here to help you.” With the astrological energy this week, this seems very good advice.

·                  ARIES [the Ram]: The Sun 

With five planets still in Aries [Sun moving out this week], The Sun card is echoing the Beatles’ tune “Here comes the Sun – and it’s all right!” This is an energized, joyous week for you filled with positive energy.

·                  TAURUS [the Bull]: The Moon

Taurus is ruled by Venus, who is bringing positive energy on Thursday. Until then, heed the vision of the Moon card. Take time to reflect as you are coming to a new year. Let intuition guide. What worked this year; what didn’t; what to keep, what to discard. Life is a tremendous journey unfolding.

·                  GEMINI [the Twins]: Page of Cups

This is a good week to contemplate and fantasize your future. The Moon is moving through Gemini early in the week before it gets to Leo. Take time to think back to a goal you had in July 2025 [New Moon in Leo]. What are your plans with it now? Page cards are student/learner prompts. With Jupiter in Cancer [where it’s been since June 2025 and will continue until June 2026], magnifying energy abounds. Mostly it’s very positive, but as we all know, too much energy can be daunting. The Strength card is telling you that, this week, have some quiet reserve so that you can move forward with hope and perseverance.

·                  LEO [the Lion]: Knight of Swords

This card reflects ambition and skill, directing energy outward. With the First Quarter Moon in Leo, where do you want to direct this burst of energy? Remember what plans you had in July 2025 [New Moon in Leo], and how do you want to proceed now?

·                  VIRGO [the Virgin]: Six of Cups

The astrological vibes this week will likely cause many Virgos to turn inward, to be silent and to contemplate. This card suggests this week may turn nostalgic, reflecting on the past; and could cause regrets. Avoid going there. Focus on the sweet memories and smile.

·                  LIBRA [the Scales]: King of Swords

King cards are authoritative; and Swords are active, sometimes fiery. This week seek intellectual clarity to recognize and the accept the truth of a matter that’s been nagging at you.

·                  SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: Knight of Cups

The Knight of Cups suggests this may not be a good time to commit to a proposed project. Rely on intuition guided by your inner soul. Scorpio is generally not of passive temperament, but now it might be beneficial to step back and be less aggressive with your plans.

·                  SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: The Hermit

It’s time for some serious introspection, to unplug from stress and decide what’s most important in life. This card represents a personal need for self-discovery; OR are you being called to help someone else in need of finding life understanding?

·                  AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Nine of Wands

Pluto, the planet of transformation, is in Aquarius and has been for some time and will remain for many more years. Coupled with this card, this is likely a period where you have been accepting more of the burden in home and work than necessary or warranted. You need a break. Step back, delegate to others and allow yourself some rest.

·                  PISCES [the Fish]: Eight of Pentacles

The Collective card of Security this week seems to be speaking to you specifically. Given the prudence of this card, maintain a steady hand and stick to a practical routine applied to material matters. Avoid overindulgence.
