Tarot Readings for the Week of February 8, 2026

An overview of major astrology transits for this week helps focus the Tarot. Please remember that astrology aspects are not predictions but merely signposts to help understand the astral influences that may affect you.

·        Sunday - Venus in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus: There is restless energy that can lead to unpredictable results. This may include the need to compromise.

·        Monday – Last Quarter Moon 20° Scorpio: Scorpio is seriously intense, powerful, and can display jealousy if feeling outdone. Looking at the last quarter Moon, it’s time to consider the efforts you’ve made to move forward, celebrate those, and determine what now needs to be discarded – perhaps what you never even needed anyway.

·        Tuesday – Venus enters Pisces: Relationships need nurturance for the next few weeks. This could be personal and intimate or business and building mutual respect. Either way, compassion leads the way.

·        Wednesday – Sun in Aquarius sextile Chiron in Aries: This is an empathetic period. You’re more likely to help heal others while addressing your own healing.

·        Thursday – Mercury in Pisces conjunct North Node in Pisces: Use your positive and nurturing communication skills, while avoiding aggression or negative comments. This is not just about others, but also thoughts about yourself. Let go of the need for perfection.

·        Friday the 13th – Saturn at 29° Pisces continues to be conjunct Neptune at 0° Aries, as it has bounced between signs due to retrogrades since May 2025. Being the superstitious Friday the 13^th, take this time to pause and give gratitude for what’s working in your life. Avoid overindulgence. Listen to your dreams; perhaps journal them to reflect on later.

Diplomacy is key here. With the varied energy this week, much of it leaning toward compassion, now is the week for listening to your intuition and taking conscious action for bringing peace to your life.

Whatever is bringing you sorrow needs to end. Life is too short to spend it in an unhappy state of mind. Saturn’s current position affects this card and is determined to end what no longer holds value. Accept the inevitable and you will rejoice.

·        TAURUS [the Bull]: The Empress

In this Romantic deck, the Empress is the ruler of the ring. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love. With Venus moving into dreamy Pisces this week, grace and kindness will guide you to your calm, secure place.

·        GEMINI [the Twins]: The Hermit

Alone time can build strength. Carve out some time for yourself to concentrate/meditate on your network of abilities. You have so much to give. This will help you to recognize how you are best able to help others.

·        CANCER [the Crab]: 5 of Pentacles

You are able to communicate your needs this week even though your emotions are guiding you. This is a passionate time for you. You know what you want and are willing to take a risk to get it.

·        LEO [the Lion]: 2 of Cups

Relationships are balanced and in fine tune this week. Venus oversees this card and invites you to accept love [in giving and receiving] as your guide.

·        VIRGO [the Virgin]: The Moon

Perfection is highly overrated. Drop your guard and let your fantasies lead the way. You can do anything you really want to do. The question is, what is that dream that you’re afraid to allow yourself to go for?

·        LIBRA [the Scales]: Queen of Cups

As part of your seeking harmony and balance in your life, remember to do so with sincerity and unconditional love, not only to others but to yourself. Your inner child [your spirit] yearns for your attention.

·        SCORPIO [the Scorpion]: King of Swords

Set your pride and jealous nature aside and speak from the heart. Without trying to be in charge or trying to control the situation, be clear and truthful about your personal needs from others.

·        SAGITTARIUS [the Archer]: Knight of Pentacles

It takes a tremendous amount of courage to make it to the top of the mountain. Don’t stop on the side of the road to dream about what’s at the top; just carry on. You possess the fortitude to achieve your goals.

·        CAPRICORN [the Sea-Goat]: The Hanged Man

There is rarely a smooth path on the road of love for yourself or others. Sacrifice is often needed. Pause to contemplate what sacrifices you’re willing to make in the name of spiritual peace and tranquility.

 ·        AQUARIUS [the Water Bearer]: Judgement

The decision to be made is whether to listen to your mind or to your heart. Aquarius is co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus. Saturn urges you to be responsible; Uranus, to be inventive. Which will it be?

·        PISCES [the Fish]: Queen of Pentacles

Ask and it will be given you; offer and it will be accepted. The future is filled with promise. You’ve accomplished much in the past. Continue that path and you will continue to achieve.
